Playing for a Cause

Video games have changed my life in a leisurely way and

now I want to use video games to help change the lives of others.

My name is Mark and I am about to help fight pediatric cancer.

Please come along for the ride and we can change lives together.

I am the father of a son born with a spinal tumor. This tumor is benign but has caused multiple surgeries and a lifetime of change for him.
I heard about an event that is going to take place on October 17, 2009 to help raise money for kids with cancer.
That's when I thought "wow, these kids would welcome a lifetime of change in order to be certain they will be around for a lifetime."
That's when I knew I had to take action and help raise money for pediatric cancer.

This fundraiser is open to everyone and is asking for gamers and sponsors.

This is how it works. I will play video games for 24 hours straight. Oh woe is me. I love playing video games, which is all I do in my spare time so I knew this was perfect for me.
I need to get sponsors to back me though. The asking donation is $1 per number of hours played for a total of $24. BTW...EVERY SINGLE PENNY you donate goes to Texas Childrens' Cancer Center and is tax deductible.

Imagine, you can help change the life of a child with cancer for only $24. Is it worth it to you?
Please help in this fight. My son and I thank you.

Sincerely,
Mark
